Natalee Holloway had been at the casino, and had been drinking with the Joran Van der Sloot he is as guilty as hell the creep slime vampire bat . The two brothers one called Satish and Deepak and Joran Van der sloot, and I thinks a fellow named Steve all creeps , whom had been arrested about this case in 2006, had a plan. They had done this type of thing to so many other other girls in Aruba before. They were to give Natalee a last drugged drink to go, and Joran was to put a drug in her drink, I think a 'Date Rape Drug". He did. Natalee was not really so drunk when she left with Joran Van der Sloot, she was drugged! by all means Joran had asked her to go with him to see the Light House she was pulled to the car . Natalee was not sure about going and had refused at first , but with the drink and the drug in it, she followed him to the awaiting car like a sheep waiting to be slaugthered. It was just her and Joran Van der sloot, not the rest of the guys in the car , as has been reported by other withnesses. Joran started to drive to the Light House but Natalee passed out cold almost as soon as she got in the car! Joran then turned around and drove to a beach close to her hotel! He parked and dragged her out of the car onto the beach where the other three guys came out of hiding. The two brothers and the Steve guy. They all took turns raping her and when the last brother was nearly finished, Natalee woke up but was very groggy, and the second brother finished, as she started to fight them off. They were very angry and surprised, as one of them who gave Joran the drug, was supposed to give enough to keep her out, nearly all night!They all held her down, as Joran put his hands over her nose and mouth and hit her aswell until she died! Remember, Natalee was very drugged but still managed to fight them off, as best she could. She was a good girl but at the wrong place at the wrong time . She had been tricked and drugged. Other girls had been victims, as well waking up on beaches in the morning light, knowing something terrible had happened to them, but not actually remembering what it was.

The boys had not expected Natalee to wake up, so this was a surprise to them all! One of them quickly called someone the father of Joran van der Sloot and soon another car drove up to the parking spot on the beach. This person brought a black, zippered, coroner's, body bag. They then all helped put her inside. I couldn't see the face of the man who came with the bag, but thought it strange that someone could come up with a body bag so quickly! Next they put Natalee in the back seat of the car who's owner brought the body bag. Natalee was inside the bag and it was dark, so they thought no one would be able to see into the back seat, and I assumed that they did not have to drive far to hide the body.

But fortunate there were other withnesses as well . The first gardener that worked for the Van der Sloot family was said to have been deported he seen it aswell but was sent home to where he came from with some money to keep his mouth closed. He was forced and taken by a small plane, to an island not more than 5 or 10 minutes away, from Aruba, to a 'Compound" in the jungle. The 'People running drug things in Aruba, did not want him to talk since he saw something that night the father of joran van der sloot carrying a big black bag and surely something weird , as he had already spoke to someone, a reporter, I think, and they would have killed him aswell, but it would have looked to suspicious, so they just said he was "deported". The first gardener was from a group of poor people , and came to Aruba to work for the Van der Sloots, in order to earn money for their poor family.So some main "withnesses " gone the drugbarons at the aruba drug kartell, so authorities didn't make any attempt to find him, as they thought he would never tell and he couldn't be found anyway. If those same people thought he had talked about what he saw, they would not hesitate to kill the entire poor family, so that no one would be left to talk! It would be mass genocide! He, however, did talk what he really saw that night to some guards that night , and some other people know about what actually happened. I have to say that at least two of the young men that raped Natalee, and killed her, went straight home after the beach to set up alibi's the bastards.
The First Gardener got up around 4 AM to 4:30 AM, or when ever his usual morning work begins, and that is when he saw the guys with the body bag. He knew something was terribly wrong but he quickly turned around and went back to where he slept until no one else was around. When this gardener, told the wrong person that he saw the Van der Sloot boy at a certain time, I think his first statement was correct. This was his only mistake, and they had to get rid of him. They had no idea he saw them with the black body bag. I cannot tell you where she is buried, as if one of them finds out I have repeated this much, they will try and move it. I just know some very powerful people way up in the island gourvernement with some powerfull influence on that Island helped those guys hide the body and coverup all the tracks.

The Dutch authorities sent those guys over to Aruba, as they had already been in trouble and they were an embarrassment to the Dutch Authorities. Joran Van der Sloot and the two brothers, would go to school and leave whenever they felt like it rich new kids and you know the rest aswell and the teachers were too afraid to call them on it!
Those three got away with first degree 'Murder' all the time. They finally got into such trouble that they had to be sent away. Joran was back in Aruba, at it again, along with his friends. but fled to Holland to the city Arnhem and sometimes city Haarlem in Holland
You know that the Island survives on it's drug and tourist industry. Many drugs are sent from Aruba. This is why the authorities are so afraid of this story, as they all get kick-backs from the drug money, I know there was a big up coverup meeting there were also six people who had a meeting this year in an Aruba Courtroom.
One included the current Judge. They were talking about the case, and especially about Satish Deepak. They said he was a loose cannon and unstable, and were worried that he might talk! It seems everyone, all adult, in that courtroom, knew what happened to Natalee including the Senior Van der Sloot, who was there in the room with the Judge and four others. They were not in session, as the Judge had his robe open and was standing around with the rest of these people.

Poor Natalee Holloway case is a real problem for Aruba may God have her soul, as she is not the only one who has gone missing because of the same type of action, or drugs. So the Drug kartell warned to sent Joran van der Sloot to Holland They cannot kill the entire Van der Sloot Family and the others that have been arrested, which would probably solve Aruba's problem, as far as the drug business goes.
I have seen that Joran Van der Sloot boy was wearing a blue and white stripped shirt the night Natalee was murdered, and Satish wore a blue T-shirt.

I have to say the gardener said Natalee, is buried under two false floors under the old gray garden shed, on the Van der Sloot property! But because if they catch wind me talking, the body will surely be moved! The first floor of the gardeners shed had some pallets for a floor, and under this floor is another false floor that has dirt over it, so it looks like the ground, but if you look closely, you will see two small handles near the edges of the floor that can be taken up. Even the present gardener doesn't know it's there. In this shed is a lawn mower, and a rake, a bucket and some garden tools. There is also a terrible odor that is partially from the fish cut up to fertilize the gardens. This is what throws them off the scent, so to speak. Natalee is not alone under there. There is another body in there with her,

His passing is so sudden,unexpected and has left all of us at a loss.

Jamie was one of us..who sincerely and diligently helped to probe for the
answers in Natalee's disappearance. I do believe his heart was right...

Jamie's part is so detrimental in the suit filed in Calfiornia...I just pray that God
does not let evil conquer good in that case.

Thank you kindly Jamie for all you did for Natalee... Rest in Peace.

Jamie Skeeters is a polygraph expert from California. He has helped the Holloway family in their search for Natalee. He is the one that taped Deepak and then the tape was shown in parts on the Dr. Phil show.

The Kalpoe's lawsuit is suing Dr. Phil and Jamie Skeeters.

I am so sorry that Jamie seemingly passed without warning. It is very traumatic to those who loved him that he passed in this way. However, to Jamie and God, it now makes sense that God took him when He did.

Jamie seemed to be...at least to me, although I did not know him personally...to be a very kind and truly caring man. He certainly gave so much of his time and strength to helping those who needed his expertise.

May God give Jamie's family "the peace that surpasseth all understanding" during this difficult time of loss. I pray they innately are aware Jamie will never truly leave them. God bless Jamie in his spiritual journey homeward, and God bless those he leaves behind.

Natalee Holloway's Stepfather Seeks Divorce

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Jan. 5) - The stepfather of Natalee Holloway, the Alabama teen who disappeared in Aruba in 2005, has filed for divorce from Holloway's mother, Beth Twitty.

George "Jug" Twitty filed divorce papers in Jefferson County Circuit Court on Dec. 29. The court filing said the couple separated Dec. 15 and have "such a complete incompatibility of temperament that the parties can no longer live together."

The Birmingham News reported the court filing Friday.

Jug Twitty declined comment on the divorce proceedings, and a phone message left for Beth Twitty on Friday was not immediately returned.

The couple attracted international attention after Holloway, then 18, disappeared in Aruba on May 30, 2005, while on a graduation trip with fellow students from Mountain Brook High School.

The Twittys appeared together during the early stages of the search. As it dragged on, Jug Twitty returned to Birmingham, and Beth Twitty remained in Aruba for almost three months.

After an unsuccessful search, Beth Twitty returned to Alabama and founded the International Safe Travels Foundation. She now spends much of her time traveling to speak to high school students.

The Twittys were married on July 26, 2000 - a second marriage for both.

Jug Twitty filed the divorce papers shortly after Beth Twitty and her daughter's father, Dave Holloway, filed suit against two former suspects in the case, Deepak and Satish Kalpoe. The suit, filed in California, claimed the Kalpoe brothers intentionally caused fatal injuries to Holloway.

A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed against brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe, two of the young men last seen with Natalee Holloway, the Alabama teenager who disappeared in Aruba in May 2005.

The suit of Beth Twitty and Dave Holloway was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court as a related case to a defamation lawsuit the Kalpoe brothers filed Wednesday against pop psychologist and talk show host Dr. Phil, CBS and Paramount, among others.

"All we want is justice for our daughter," Twitty said in a press release issued about the civil case. "There is no doubt in my mind that Deepak and Satish played a role in my daughter's death and should be held accountable. It's unconscionable that they have not been punished so far."

Allegations against the Kalpoes, who are residents of the Caribbean island where Natalee Holloway was traveling on a class trip when she vanished without a trace, say the brothers caused her death by "intentionally, negligently, wantonly ... unlawfully conducting themselves," bringing about injuries that proved fatal.

The Kalpoes' suit against Dr. Phil, whose real name is Phillip C. McGraw, maintains that an interview filmed with the brothers "was manipulated and later broadcast by the 'Dr. Phil' show as being accurate and which portrays Deepak Kalpoe and Satish Kalpoe 'as engaging in criminal activity against Natalee Holloway and constitutes defamation per se.'"

Natalee Holloway was last seen alive with the Kalpoes and a Dutch teen, Joran van der Sloot, in a gray Honda early on the morning of May 30, 2005. The brothers and van der Sloot have all been arrested in connection with her murder and later released, but none have been brought to trial.

Uncovering the truth about Aruba's "One Happy Island"

What do you look for in a vacation destination?

Warm, sunny climate? Long stretches of white beach? A variety of recreational activities?
Murder?
Rape?
Drugging?
Kidnapping?
Well then, folks, Aruba is the place for you!
That's right, not only does this "One Happy Island" offer a plethora of delightful vacation ideals that can be found in many other countries, but Aruba promises a once-in-a-lifetime experience for a number of its visitors. While Aruba boasts one of the lowest crime rates in the Caribbean, it is appalling to see just what is behind this claim. Let's take a look at the numbers, shall we?
Aruba has a population of 71,566. That is .02% of the population of the U.S. It is also .06% of the population of Mexico, .16% of the population of Colombia, 24% of the population of The Bahamas. With a fraction of the population of most other countries, of course the proportion of crime will be relatively low. But just because Aruba can post low crime statistics, that does not mean that it is a safe place to visit.
In pursuing leads during the first 6 months of the Natalee Holloway missing person case, Aruba was exposed for harboring the following crimes:
1) On 6-18-05 police found a (partially) decapitated body of an Aruban male in the neighborhood called Sabana (the man was later identified as SERGIO GOMEZ). According to preliminary (unconfirmed) reports the man was murdered in his house and then later dumped in a cemetery close by. The scene at the house and the cemetery have been described as gruesome and bloody. There are also reports of an additional person who's missing on the island. The pickup truck of the missing man has been found, but the man himself is nowhere to be found. This recent murder and additional missing case are all being investigated.
2) On 6-27-05 it was reported that "Several years ago the [rock] quarry dried up and the body of someone long-missing was found." [Aruba did not make this known in reporting its crime statistics - it has only ever reported "petty street theft".]
3) While snorkeling on 7-6-05 about a half-mile from the Marriott off Arashi beach, a woman discovered one bone in the ocean that she found between 2 large rocks. She describes the bone as being 3.5' to 5.0' long, larger at one end that was rounded like a bone joint, gray in color, and still had a "whitish tissue that was still meaty and flesh-like that was still attached to the bone." When asked if she thought it was a human bone, she said, yes, she thought it was a human's bone because the bone had not been cooked nor barbecued like an animal bone might have been if eaten as food.
4) Ted Williams, an American defense attorney and former homicide detective told FoxNews on 7-16-05 that an American tourist had been killed in Aruba in 1996.
That is quite the jump from street theft! Within 6 months, an island of 71,566 that claims to have virtually NO crime has experienced or revealed 4 instances of crime beyond petty theft.

MEGYN KENDALL, GUEST HOST: Breaking news in the Natalee Holloway investigation

(”andie” missed her first line, so she started from where she picked up transcribing here)

KENDALL: Van der Sloot and the two Kalpoe brothers are headed back to court again. Tell us why?

JULIA RENFRO, (the transplanted AMERICAN in ARUBA who moved to ARUBA 16+ years ago and owns an interest in many ARUBA businesses including an ARUBAAN’s news source): Yes, Megyn. We are under the understanding that all three of these main suspects are going to ask the court system as early as November the 1st to clear their names from the case as they are all stating that nothing new has been introduced into the case against them for over a year.

KENDALL: And what are the chances that that will actually happen? Our viewers will probably remember that Joran's father did this successfully. What are the chances it will happen for these three?

RENFRO: Right. Well, it is a little bit different situation for these three, obviously, because--especially for Joran--who Is the last known to be seen with Natalee Holloway.

The situation we are in right now is since the new Dutch authorities have been asked to help with, or actually take over the case--and namely the KLPD--and they are currently investigating and going through all the statements, and any type of suspicions or what they might call evidence.
And with that we believe the Prosecutor will present that to the judge as it is impossible to release these three main suspects because the Dutch authorities are currently working on the case.

KENDALL: Not yet over, and these three guys are still technically in the “hot seat.”

Now, I mean, Julia, what is the legal significance, if you know, of it?

Like, if they are declared "officially cleared" is there something that they can do then that they can't do now?

RENFRO: No, it could very well just be for self-feeling, or maybe to get permits to stay on the island longer, or, really, we are not familiar with the details of why they would want to do this because, actually, after two years--which would be June 2007--all three of them will be released as suspects in this case, and that doesn‘t mean that if they find some evidence against any one of these three boys that they would be re-introduced as suspects.

KENDALL: And let me ask you this; we all know that Joran van der Sloot is out of the country now going to college, but what about the two Kalpoe brothers? Are they out and about on the Island of Aruba? Living their lives normally?

RENFRO: Yes. I am not sure about "normally" you know. They're still suspects in the case, and, you know, it probably feels pretty bad for them. I actually don't know but they are working and the younger of the two is still in school. So, yes, they are out and about.

KENDALL: Got it. Interesting. Well, we will be watching to see what happens at this hearing in November. Julia, thanks so much for the update.

RENFRO: You are welcome.

MEGYN KENDALL, GUEST HOST: What is the point of going into court on this November 1st hearing and trying to get their names cleared?

DAVID KOCK, LAWYER FOR THE SUSPECTS KALPOE‘S: (on the phone) You know, that was the date that was set by the judge because it’s been some time now that we already solicited the judge to instruct the DA either to proceed with the case and set the date for the trial, or to dismiss the case. Because these people cannot be held in that situation--not knowing what is happening. We’re about 17 months later and there are really no new developments in the case.

KENDALL: But what’s the point, I mean, if they get some sort of official declaration that they are no longer suspects in the case? What does it do for them? Does it change their rights? What’s happening down there in Aruba, at all?

KOCK: Yes, well, they can finally close the book on this issue and go on and of course there will be other consequences if somebody is investigated while no case is. This thing is hanging like a sword on top of their head, and it’s not going away.

KENDALL: It doesn’t look like any charges are pending anytime soon from what we’ve heard. Let me ask you this; We’ve reported on the show last night that the Dutch authorities have taken over the investigation of this case. Why would the judge clear Deepak and Satish Kalpoe and Joran van der Sloot for that matter, now, when fresh authorities are taking another look at this?

KOCK: You know, it was very funny because we submitted our request some time ago and then all of a sudden Dutch Police are being involved. To us it’s more of a reaction from the Aruba DA maybe to tell or pretend towards the judge that there is still something going on because we were suppose to have a hearing already the end of July-August. I think based on this new Dutch investigation the judge wanted to give them some leeway and I think that’s why the date was set November 1st. Like, November 1st you have to come up with something because we can’t keep going on like this.

KENDALL: Interesting. Well, we are obviously keeping our eyes posted on this case that has had our country riveted on this, like you said, 17 months now.

(to DAVE HOLLOWAY) You know, let me ask you the same question that I just finished up with David. Do you believe that these suspects might officially be cleared on November 1st when the Dutch authorities are taking a fresh look at it and hopefully the investigation is in a way starting a new?

DAVE HOLLOWAY, NATALEE HOLLOWAY’S FATHER: (on the phone) He mentioned something about funny that things happen that’s very coincidental that they are setting dates to get dismissed just when the Dutch are coming in and investigate it [being] quite coincidental. A lot of things have been coincidental in this case, by the way.

KENDALL: At this point I’ve got to imagine you have next to no, or no, faith in the Aruba courts. What do you expect to happen, Dave? What do you think this money is on?

HOLLOWAY: Well, I would hope that they would not allow for them to be freed. But if I was banking on it, based on what’s happened in the past, it’s a possibility that they will be released.

KENDALL: Dave, is anything happening as far as you know in the case? As I just mentioned, and as you know, the United States has been riveted to Natalee’s disappearance for over a year and a half now. There were nightly updates on the case for so long but now it’s has fallen by the way side a bit in terms of the public eye. Are you still on this case day to day in terms of leads in the investigation, or, not so much anymore?

HOLLOWAY: Oh, it stays on your mind every day. You are always constantly thinking, “What happened?”. You know your daughter went to Aruba for a four-day vacation and, all of a sudden, she disappears and no one seems to know what happened. You know, a lot of circumstantial evidence is surrounding these three suspects and you know it’s just sad that this court date comes up on November 1st and it will be a sad day if they are all dismissed.

KENDALL: Dave I know you believe they had something to do with Natalee’s disappearance. What do you think happened?

HOLLOWAY: You know, there are a lot of different theories out there Megyn. You know, I just really don’t know because I don’t have all the investigative material that the police have. There are a lot of theories that these three suspects are directly involved and you know of course there is some other theories out there, and I would be remiss to give that out.

KENDALL: Well, hopefully time will tell Dave. Thank you so much. We’re praying you get some answers.

Aruba - Tourism Continues to Plummet
The number of Tourists arriving in Aruba on cruise ships decreased 12.9% in April 2006; the number of tourists arriving at the Aruban airport also plummeted 14.7%. This dispite Aruba telling us what a wonderful 2006 Spring Break season they had.
Scared Monkeys Blog runs a July4, 2006 translated article from Amigoe indicating these admitted figures along with a note that the consumer inflation index rose 3.9% with an expected total inflation rate of 5.6% for 2006.
While many Arubans want to blame Americans for this continued decline in tourism, the fault rests solely on the corruption displayed by Aruban officials through out the investigation of American Teen, Natalee Holloway.
Americans have no responsibility to vacation in Aruba. They once chose Aruba as a vacation spot because they thought it was a relatively safe place. However, ALE has demonstrated that should something bad happen to an American Tourist, there will be lies and cover ups instead of an actual investigation. Americans will spend their vacation dollars where they feel wanted and safe. Aruba is NOT the place.
Even the Dutch could not believe the inept and fraud involved in the investigation as Dave Holloway and Beth Twitty spent months in Aruba attempting to organize a search for their daughter who is presumed dead.
Three young men, Joran van der Sloot, Deepak and Satish Kalpoe were arrested after being allowed to roam the island freely for 10 days, even though they were identified within 24 hours as being the last people seen with Natalee. All three have conflicting stories that have never stood up to day light.
Aruban officials continue their lip service by counting all the money they have spent on the investigation but give no account of the vast amount of evidence that has either been "lost" or thrown away.

Just a little late on the gravy train, those Aruban Cops. Not the best time to be negotiating. Same for the new Colombian witness. He may get only scraps. Aruba is tapped out, the security guards, John Pauly, Joe Tacopina and the 9 lawyers, they took their money when the getting was good. It's not good anymore.And it's not because of the tourist dollars. It's the drug money that is moving away, out of the limelight. There won't be any crime to pretend to fight anymore. Nothing to look the other way about.The police are integral do everything that does and doesn't happen in Aruba. You can only collect favors for looking the other way when you know what you're looking away from.The Aruba Police know, and know some of the police are involved in the covering up of multiple crimes. The Police had to be a part of Natalee's disappearance.Karin Janssen, Gerold Dompig, Dennis Jacobs and Jan Van der straaten know the truth. They were told of Natalee's fate. But the instinct of the soulless cost them and a growing number of victims of the Van der sloots. They cannot answer to how they know Natalee's fate and cannot prosecute the Van der sloots. Because the plea bargain failed.Dennis Jacobs is a narcotics cop in a place that has a reputation for being friendly to drug dealers. But there has been more criminal behavior in favor of the Van der sloots than there has been energy to find Natalee.Yet there exists no justice under any legal system that can begin to be considered fair to Natalee. Only our persistence in her memory to never break the chain around the Van der sloots can be considered even reasonably fair.The legal system never really existed in Aruba. The precious budget was never meant to deal with prosecuting crime only managing it. Talk about looking the other way, the legal system was no more than a suggestion box. Paul Van der sloot has been waiting for a decision on his settlement since February. Do you really think there is some legal protocol here or is the judge waiting so as not to embarrass himself? Just what is he waiting for?Because of Natalee and her parents, the Van der sloots are unforgettable.Dave and Beth have stood the test of time. But the runaway, insurance scam, the Schipper's "vanished" theory, the MB students involvement, the beach flasher, the overdose have not. They look like hokey childish comments from children caught red handed.Janssen, Jacobs, Van der straaten were not in Aruba to stem the flow of drugs and the surrounding money. Obviously.They were more like managers. After all, without that currency who would fund anything on Aruba? Which is what we are seeing. The ones that operated under the radar have fled. The tourists only another distraction. Aruba's real troubles are it's fleeing "base." And it's not American tourists.End the suspicion and the spotlight will go away. Not even a story about corrupt cops will warrant a blurb from any U.S. news program.But John Pauly didn't tell you that? Or is it that Natalee wasn't the victim of an isolated incident? You had one of those moments where you knew it finally had gone too far? The freewheeling was over?And you all lied and continue to lie. Inflicting more pain on Natalee's family than is necessary. Your sadism is what makes you famous.But your cowardice is your legacy.Tell us how Natalee went from murdered to missing to murdered to disappeared? How does the word pre-meditated fit into this crime Ms. Janssen? Heavy Battery?Did you ever think that maybe when Paulus told you Natalee was dead he was lying?

* Father's Day, contrary to popular misconception, was not established as a holiday in order to help greeting card manufacturers sell more cards. In fact when a "father's day" was first proposed there were no Father's Day cards!
Mrs. John B. Dodd, of Washington, first proposed the idea of a "father's day" in 1909. Mrs. Dodd wanted a special day to honor her father, William Smart. William Smart, a Civil War veteran, was widowed when his wife (Mrs. Dodd's mother) died in childbirth with their sixth child. With a recap of the Fox News coverage, the media now rests waiting for something to emerge that will shed new light on the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Their theories to date have led them nowhere but they proudly present all they have done as an example of an exhaustive search. This column is a reminder of what they haven’t done or considered.

First of all they have not given a hard look at a possible motive for her disappearance. I covered this is a previous article you can find under my other articles. This is a key determinate that all investigations pursue. Motive answers why someone would want to abduct Natalee. I use the word abduction because murder is premature. Without any evidence to support this crime , abduction was seldom considered. You will note that the media seldom mentioned this possibility. They focused mainly on the what they assumed had happened to Natalee ( i.e she had been murdered ). This focus in spite of no evidence to support it- evidently was their vision of what would be most news worthy. The results speak for themselves.

Where does that now leave us? It leaves us reviewing the whole case from the standpoint of what went wrong in the investigation that nothing was turned up. This leads us to the investigators and their methodology. This leads us to a review of their theories on what happened and why they looked where they did. It leads us to ask why there is not an internal review process being conducted and if it is , when will the results of that investigation be made public? Concluding they did all that they could -with no results is unacceptable. It is unacceptable to the grieving family and it is unacceptable to Natalee’s hope and it is unacceptable to the country of Aruba. For the reputation of either a corrupt or incompetent police investigation will not enhance visitors to flock to a country where they may disappear and never be found.

It is in everyone’s interest except the guilty to dig deeper into the case. One could excuse the performance of the investigation as a lack of leads or evidence but that begs the question Why? With a reward and a small island to search , false arrests ( based on what?) and screwball theories tossed out by a chief investigator, the lack of leads and evidence rings phony. Unless these red herrings can be satisfactorily be explained it is time for the investigation to focus on the methodology and the agency doing the investigation. This must be asked for- and insisted upon - to either exonerate the investigation team or find it’s faults. The evident hope of the guilty party is to play for time until public opinion becomes resigned that the crime falls into the unsolvable category.

This is almost too obvious. At the slightest hint of bad publicity, an arrest comes forward only to vaporize without information. This is the tactic of “doing something” just as a worker can appear to look busy. It is not leading to results : therefore, it is not aimed at solving the crime. Random arrests appear to be attempts at effort but when this effort becomes a visible ploy, serious interrogation of the reason for the technique must be activated. Those responsible should be aware they are either encouraging skepticism or if they are involved, looking more and more guilty as time passes. This is because if they are hiding something they have no other choice to pursue. They cannot find what will incriminate them and they cannot expose what they want to hide.
If nothing Could be done it would be a far different story. But something Can be done and it isn’t. This is what makes this case so intriguing. If it were fiction there would be thousands of readers questioning the events, possible motives and who was involved? There would be an expectation the conclusion of the book would reveal the culprits. Nothing would be excluded as possible and an elaborate plot to abduct young attractive girls including corruption and cover up would be brought to light, the villains caught and the ending would be satisfactory. There would be no loose ends left hanging and there would be no public acceptance of the nonsense the crime was unsolvable. But this is a real case and as such is not just something an author dreamed up. A real person disappeared, a real person abducted her and a real person ( or persons) is out there thinking they are not going to be found out.

The only thing these criminals have to hope for is disinterest. That isn’t going to happen. In the first place, there are too many unanswered questions and in the second place another similar crime will cast light on what has been going on. Criminals have to try again when they succeed and it is only a matter of time until they do. It would be better for all if that didn’t happen. Digging into the investigation may prevent the need for another victim and reveal what really happened to the girl from Alabama.

Tuesday marks one year since Natalee Holloway went to Carlos 'n Charlie's, left the bar and vanished. We have some special interviews to show you tonight. In anticipation of the one-year anniversary, we took a day trip with our video and still cameras on Friday to her home in Mountain Brook, Alabama.
At her home — besides taking pictures that are posted today — we interviewed Natalaee's friends. You will see those interviews tonight. Two of the friends had been with her in Aruba and I was struck by what they thought when they first heard Natalee had missed her flight.
Natalee's friends' lives have changed much in this year: They went from essentially childhood to adulthood. They were high schoolers one year ago and now they have a year of college under their belts. It is obvious that Natalee's friends are close to Beth — and Beth to them.
We walked around Natalee's house with Beth and Natalee's friends, including going into Natalee's bedroom. Her bedroom reflects that transition from childhood to adulthood — there were lots of little Wizard of Oz dolls in contrast with her newly purchased adult dresses for her expected August sorority rush parties. There are pictures of her room posted.
Some have written me that maybe Natalee is a runaway but that is doubtful. She has a calendar hanging on her closet door — shown in one of the pics — with many plans in the future. With so many plans, why would she runaway? Plus, she was 18 when she vanished and she did not need to runaway — she could do what she wanted.
We went to Alabama on Friday because Beth did not want to be there on the actual anniversary of her disappearance — May 30. Beth wanted to try and get away and she did. As you might imagine, this is a particularly bad time for Beth. She has a good "game face" on TV, but in private she grieves as any parent would.

Aruba police rounded up 71,920 Arubans who were on the Island at the time in question, basically the entire population, and will shortly arrest all of them en masse in order to avoid the tedium of booking everyone individually. They will be confined to Beach Arrest and will not be able to leave until the investigation is over, which should be by 2012, at which point she will be declared officially dead and the investigation can then turn from a missing person report into a murder case. Then and only then will the full weight and power of Aruban Police work begin in earnest.

Everyone has the ability to solve mysteries. Some are better at it than others. Some are better because they practice and some who practice are not so good. It is not practice alone that can get the job done. If a golfer practices and practices and doesn’t get better it is because his technique is flawed. Practicing the wrong technique only makes the problem worse. A piano player would not think of practicing techniques that included sour notes and flawed chords. Why should a person trying to solve mysteries ignore poor results? Yet the mystery sleuth has an easy out. He can always say something like “there was not enough evidence” or “ we just didn’t have any leads”. Not that there couldn’t be a lack of evidence or a lack of leads, These excuses assume all was done with the known facts. And this supposes all theories ( i.e. solutions ) have been properly evaluated and prioritized by how well they fit the known evidence.
Let’s look at a normal “mystery” that most people are confronted with at some time. Suppose you go out one morning and your car doesn’t start. You may simply contract with a mechanic to find out what is wrong with the car or you may have a little bit of do-it -yourself inclination and want to solve this puzzle yourself. At this point all you know is the car will not start. If you understand how a car operates you don’t check the tire pressure. You draw from your past experience and if nothing rings a bell you have to start an investigation into the unknown ( to you). Where do you start? You look at what is happening and what should be happening. If the engine is turning over rapidly you know the battery is okay. You know or you can find out that there are three things a gasoline engine requires to function. Fuel, spark and compression. Taking this a step at a time you check to see if there is fuel. You must discern if the fuel is “good”. You then must determine if it is reaching the combustion chamber. If all of these steps check out you move on to the other two possibilities. Finally you find what is malfunctioning and you correct the problem by repairing the faulty condition. You have solved the problem. You did not assume it was the gas and dump it out and replace it and expect it to solve the problem. Had you done so you might have dumped out a very expensive commodity and solved nothing. You assumed nothing unless you had some specific clue i.e.lead, that would lead you to a quicker solution. For instance you may have noticed a crack in your distributor cap or a frayed spark plug wire which might be something you might want to check out first. If these obvious flaws seemed to be only red herrings you would ignore them and continue with your systematic search for a solution.
Other mysteries are susceptible to the same errors in investigation. And primarily they are the result of false assumptions. If you assume a person or organization could not possibly be involved in a cover-up, you may overlook exactly what you are looking for. Covering up is what criminals do when they have committed a crime. And if the criminal is a member of a government this does not negate the possibility of their involvement when nothing else is offered for a solution. This is why the Natalee Holloway case appears as an unsolvable case. The assumption has been that even though the laws of Aruba are different than what we are used to ,the meticulous method of investigation we rely on has been applied by the authorities in Aruba. The preponderance of evidence points to something more. In the example of the non starting car we pointed out how foolish it would be to make a false assumption. We left nothing out. We entered that mystery with an open mind considering that anything that could cause a car not to start must be considered. In the Natalee Holloway case it was not entered with an open mind. It was first assumed that she had been killed. No body, no evidence, bad assumption. Then it was assumed her body was buried or disposed of on the island. No body, no evidence of a remnant of body, nothing found. Bad assumption. Then it was assumed she passed out and her system failed. Nothing to substantiate this. Bad assumption. The book out by Dave Holloway points to possible corruption in the Aruba government and is based on specific instances and facts that confirm that this is not a scenario that should be discarded. Yet it has not been pursued nor given the priority that it obviously deserves. Someone ( particularly the media most involved in covering this investigation ) has made a very bad assumption that it is either too far fetched or it may restrict their access in some way or for whatever reason they do not want to “go there”. If you assumed a car wouldn’t start because all you know about cars was that they had to have enough gas you would stop your investigation at checking the fuel level. And any subsequent inquiry about why your car wouldn’t start would be answered with “ but I’ve checked the fuel and there is plenty in the tank.” In the Natalee Holloway investigation what we are hearing is we are checking for a body but we haven’t found any. Notice the assumptions in both cases are false. Both assumptions ignore there could be other causes. Both issues are unresolved.
To solve a mystery you must consider all aspects of all the possibilities and reject only those that do not tie in with the known facts. There are no known facts that discount the possibility of Aruban government involvement. The facts do tie in with the possibility that the Aruban government ( either a corrupt official or more ) could have played a role in covering up the investigation and/ or had a role in the disappearance. If you have watched the TV interviews (and these have been softball interviews), the first time you heard anything about Aruba government corruption was last night mentioned in regard to Dave Holloway’s book. I urge you to read his book and integrate the information he is providing with what you know about bad assumptions, corruption and human trafficking. If the media wants to ignore a possible coverup by Aruban official(s), this doesn’t mean the public has to swallow their faulty assumptions. A girl doesn’t disappear without someone being responsible for her disappearance and to solve this mystery requires the first step of investigation protocol. Don’t assume you know what happened and don’t assume any one is innocent.

An open letter to Oprah Winfrey
Recently, you made a statement that, "The truth does matter." We believe that you sincerely want to represent the truth and only be a participant in truthful associations. Several months ago, the Dr. Phil show did a broadcast involving the Natalee Holloway disappearance. Dr. Phil showed excerpts from a taped conversation with one of the suspects in the case talking with a private detective, who had been hired by the Dr. Phil show. However, what Dr. Phil broadcast that day has been shown, after extensive testing by the Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI), to have been manipulated to falsely show Deepak Kalpoe (the suspect) admitting to actions, which he actually denied.

Based on that falsely constructed tape, Dr. Phil referred to Deepak Kalpoe as a sociopath and he called for the boycott of Aruba. Dr. Phil may have been a victim himself of an ambitious staff technician or the private detective, wanting to make the big score, and at the time of the broadcast Dr. Phil may not have known that what he was broadcasting was a manufactured lie.

But, what we know now, is that irrespective of who caused this tape travesty, it was clearly an attempt to frame Deepak. When the Dutch NFI analyzed the original tape, which was over two hours long, they found that Deepak was saying, "No, She didn't," and shaking his head in denial. What Dr. Phil broadcast had been edited to have Deepak saying, "She did," with his head not moving (in response to a question about Natalee having sex with all of the suspects). As Arlene Ellis-Schipper, a brilliant Aruban attorney, who comments on the case from time to time, pointed out when she described the NFI results; this body language denial is the crux, which graphically demonstrates exactly what was really said. The NFI specifically concluded that what was broadcast on the Dr Phil show was a lie and was a sinister act of deception to falsify evidence, which Dr. Phil had said would be released to Aruba to incriminate the suspects. The private detective sent his original tape (after a several months delay) to Aruba and those NFI results described in detail the Dr. Phil show broadcast as deceptive, when compared to the original.

The damage from the broadcast of the deceptive tape and Dr. Phil's accusing comments and conclusions has been far reaching. Beth Holloway has used the deceptive tape to call Deepak, his brother Satish and another suspect, Joran van der Sloot, "gang rapists," repeatedly on numerous broadcasts on the various cable news shows. The people and the country of Aruba have suffered from Dr. Phil's unjustified call for a boycott, which he based on his version, which has now been shown to have been maliciously manipulated to tell something which was not true.

Dr. Phil is well aware of the results of the NFI forensic examination of the very edited tape, which he broadcast. He knows what the unmanipulated tape shows. But, Dr. Phil has made no apology. He made no acknowledgment of the wrong that he has done to these young men and to the entire country of Aruba.

Hearing your pointed statement that the truth does matter and seeing how you moved directly to correct a misrepresentation of the facts, it is our hope that we can ask your help in correcting this remaining travesty resulting from an ongoing misrepresentation. Dr. Phil needs to confront his mistake and correct the misinformation with the truth. Will you help?
